Dry wet combined cooling tower

The combined dry and wet cooler is composed of a dry air-cooled tube bundle and a wet air-cooled tube bundle. The dry air-cooled tube bundle is placed on top of the wet air-cooled tube bundle. The process fluid enters the dry air cooler for condensation (or cooling) and then into the wet air cooling tube bundle that is sprayed directly for cooling.

(1) Due to the evaporation of water on the surface of the fin, it not only strengthens the heat transfer in the tube, but also reduces the air temperature rise of the wet air cooler, and the air enters the dry air cooler bundle at a lower temperature, which is also conducive to the heat transfer of the dry air cooler tube bundle.
(2) In the dry and wet air cooling tube bundle of the combined air cooler, the condensation and cooling of the process fluid can be realized at one time, and there is no need to install other intermediate cooling equipment, so that the process fluid temperature at the outlet of the wet air cooling tube bundle can be cooled to close to the ambient temperature.
(3) Compact structure and small footprint. Retrofitting of old installations. It is easy to arrange when the floor or space is tight.
